I know this may sound stupid, but is a black panther a consumer, producer, or a decompser?

It says on this paper im doing, Research an individual consumer, producer or decomposer. I need help by tonight its due tomorrow=/

Most definitely a consumer. It cannot produce its own energy (producer) and do not consume dead organisms (decomposer).
Reply:A black panther is not an actual species, it's just a melanistic leopard - that is, a leopard with an excess of the dark pigment melanin, resulting in an almost totally black coat (the markings will still show up against the background in certain lights). Just like normally coloured leopards, panthers are carnivores, feeding on other animals, and are therefore consumers.

but the question means like a consumer as in a person who buys stuff (customer) at target or somethin





producer is someone that produces goods ( you know like toys or tV = tv means like sony or for computers dell or apple)





and a decomposer is a person who produces things(look at one above) but use reycleables to make it.
