I think you would be advised to go to "StarMine.com", a site that specializes in tracking earnings, and they do that by tracking the analysts who rate any particular group, and from that group of analysts select the ones that statistically are right the most frequently.
The StarMine earnings estimates will give you a guidepost to work from, and estimated dates.
