I understand that a research site has the authirs name and last date of revision, a financial site contains external links to other site verifying financial statistics, and consumer sites offer fraud protection and paymant protction. But how do you determine if a website is legitimate?

Reply:Install IE7 ; there will a option called "pishing". This will help you out to find out.
Reply:I would say by using your common sense. If it seems fishy or too good to be true it probably is false. I wouldn't know if there is a specific way to figure that out. Good Luck anyways!
