I do. Ingredients are most important, then nutrition info (protein, carbs, fats).

I pay no attention to calories though because they are irrelevant if your giving your body the right amount of things it needs each day. (A lot of people blindly assume that energy is energy and it doesn't matter if they get their "2000" from a piece of pie or whole grains, fruits, etc).

What I don't like about the label:

For people that do use calories as a guide the labels are incredibly misleading, especially when a bag that is for purposes of reason is intended for a single person to eat in a single setting. Example: Roman Noodles. If you look at the package you will see that the calorie content is labeled as being half because they list 1 serving as half a "noodle block". Who eats roman noodles like that. So what I'm saying is that if the entire package is meant to be eaten by one person at one time list the entire package as one serving.

There are a lot of foods out there that have that problem. I'm not saying that if it's a big bag they should list the entire thing as one serving, just if it's reasonable that an individual could assume that the entire bag is intended to be a single meal. Like a Big bag of durritos shouldn't be listed as one serving, but those little "99¢" bags should be because I believe most people buy them to consume for themselves.
Reply:hmm... sometimes, i do check the labels before i buy something--%26gt; how much is the salt content, calories, things like that... but mostly, I just buy whatever i think tastes good or if i REALLY want it..
