I'm considering buying a used cruiser (1985-1995) in the next 6-8 months. When I buy a used car I research using consumer guides that point out the plusses and minuses of each model and what to watch out for, but I haven't been able to find one for bikes. Any suggestions?

Reply:Cruisers rock! I proudly ride an 05 Suzuki C50T. Check out the reviews and test rides at motorcyclecruiser.com. They've got a decent archive of them.

Hondas with low miles or Harleys with high miles come to mind. Not that Harley is the most reliable, but when it comes time to sell, you'll have enough to upgrade to something newer. Honda makes good cruisers too. Crotch rockets are cool too, just don't get a method man wanabee's bike that's been dropped, endo'ed and weelied to death.
Reply:Gottcha is an idiot. Buy a Honda Cruiser. They are reliable and will last for years.
Reply:gotcha lives bent over, readin magazines, and likin it.......vulcans are good cruisers
Reply:cruisers suck. buy a crotch rocket if you have balls. if you have a small dick, go ahead and buy a cruiser.
