For government I am writing a research paper over the interest group The National Consumers League and I need to know if it has a Political Action Committee or if it is one. The only problem is i don't understand what a Political Action Committtee is. Could someone please explain it to me?
What is a Political Action Committee?
A private group, organized to elect or defeat government officials or to promote legislation.
