What obstacles do they face today(Hydrogen cars)?

you can focus on obstacles from the consumers needs,

wants, fears side in primary (and secondary) research and on market development, obstacles etc. in secondary research.

Make sure to draw conclusions that could be helpful to a car producer wanting to market hydrogen cars.

What obstacles do they face today(Hydrogen cars)?
Sounds like a homework question.

Biggest problem is infrastucture. We can easily get gasoline, we can easily get electricity. The rest, not so much.

Re-tooling gasoline stations to sell hydrogen is not economically feasable. When gas is $10 a gallon, it might be more tempting to think about it.

Converting water to hydrogen takes more energy than it produces, which is why cars won't run on water any time soon. And while the pollution from the car will be less, the overall pollution from the production of the fuel may not be so clean.

Same with ethanol. Yeah, it burns cleaner, but it takes an absurd amount of corn to produce enough ethanol to fill a gas tank, enough to feed a family for a long time, if they were to only eat corn. Using corn for fuel is like using your refrigerator to cool your house, at the expense of all your food getting spolied. It is the wrong tool for the job.

There is a reason we've been using gasoline for over 100 years. And, I hate to tell you, but it is not because there is a big conspiracy. Nobody is gonna come kill you if you come up with a better way. Nobody is stopping anyone from making a 200 mpg car. We are living in the Google Age. If it was so easy, it would have already been on Youtube a million times. It's not the era of suppressing technological advancement. That period actually ended about 700 years ago.
