I have done my research now I need an opinion. I'm looking at Fuji S8100fd & Olympus SP-570 Ultra Zoom. Stuck!

I have been looking at mega zoom cameras and I am not ready to purchase a DSLR camera. I have been looking at Fuji s8100fd (10mp %26amp; 18x) Olympus (10mp %26amp; 20x). I have not owned either brand so I am stuck on which one if either. I want a camera that uses AA batteries (not fooling with recharging). I know that Canon PS S5 IS uses batteries also, but I not to keen on the mode dial (tough to turn). I have done a lot of research and I know that there are negatives on every camera out there, but the main one I can find on these two is that it does not zoom in movie mode. I don't use movie enough to complain about though. I know these cameras are coming out this month (March) and there may not be many consumer reviews on it but I can at least try. I have read reviews on websites for about 2 weeks and I keep coming back to these two. I plan to purchase in May so I have some time to think. Thank You...sorry it is long description!!!

The Fujifilm S8100fd will be a better performer at high ISOs. The Olympus tends to lose detail and the lens isn't as good. The Fujifilm and Panasonic are the two best superzoom cameras; Olympus is a distant third.

BTW, I wouldn't rule out the use of rechargeable AAs. While you can use disposable lithiums, in the long run, rechargeable AA's will be cheaper.
